Mobile Dispensary

During the year 3 mobile medical units went to urban slums & villages near Varanasi and treated 15,637 cases in all.

Retired Monks Quarter

11 Elderly & Retired Monks are residing at Sevashrama as on 31st March 2026

Old Age Homes (Invalids' Homes)

Two separate homes for men and women are maintained. Residents include men – 38 and women – 61 as on 31st March 2026

Dairy

As on 31st March 2026 the dairy had 37 milch cows, 7 milch pregnant cows, 7 dry pregnant cows, 42 heifers (8 Pregnant) and 22 calves (19 females, 3 males) taking the total strength of cattle to 115. Average daily milk yield was about 555 litres which was used for our patients at hospital and other residents.

Celebrations

Ramnam Sankirtan
On Ekadasi days Ramnam Sankirtan is sung in the main office. 
Once during his stay in Varanasi, Swami Brahmanandaji Maharaj had a vision of Mahavir Hanuman attending the Ramanam held in the above premises.

Youth Cell

A Youth Cell namely "Vivekananda Study Circle" has been started at Varanasi jointly by Sevashrama and Advaita Ashrama. Every Sunday morning about 7 youths are joining the programme and learning meditation, Vedic prayers, Character formation and study of Swami Vivekananda Literature.

Development Works


A on 31-03-2026 the following projects have been completed:
  • An Overhead Water Tank of 2.16 lakhs liter capacity was inaugurated by Mr. C. Vineet Mathur, Executive Director, CS & CSR, CONCOR, New Delhi on 30th April, 2025, the auspicious Akshaya Tritia day.
  • The 3 New Anesthesia Workstations in 3 renovated Operation Theatres were inaugurated by Revered Swami Vishwatmanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Varanasi on 30th April, 2025, the auspicious Akshaya Tritia day. Mr. C. Vineet Mathur, Executive Director, CS & CSR, CONCOR, New Delhi was present on the occasion.
  • A Passenger Lift has been installed in the Female Old Age Home. It was inaugurated by Revered Swami Brahmeshanandaji Maharaj on 10-07-2025, the auspicious Gurupurnima Day. M/s. Kirpalani Foundation, USA donated for the same.
  • A new Fujifilm Arietta 65 made USG Machine has been installed at a cost of Rs. 23 Lakhs. The same has been financed by a Well-wisher from Mumbai. 
  • The newly procured Fujifilm made CT Scan Machine was dedicated on 27-02-2026 by Revered Swami Atmashraddhanandaji Maharaj, Trustee, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission & Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kanpur in the august presence of Ms. Ridhi Bhatia, Senior Vice President, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. Kotak Group under their CSR Scheme contributed for the same.
  • 2 Megadyne Eletrosurgical Generator have been purchased to be used in the O.T. M/s. Kirpalani Foundation, USA and Ms. Durga Chakravarty, Varanasi have contributed for 1 machine each.
