Free Eye Camp : 
Cataract (IOL) Operation Camp 

Operations under IOL Camp were performed in our hospital from 11 July 2021 to 03 March 2022. In this period 181 patients were operated. Besides our three doctors, Dr. Radhika Chakraborty, Dr. Manisha Mishra & Dr. Shantanu Kumar Gupta; Dr. Bhaskar Mukherjee of Burdwan, W.B., performed the operations.

Mobile Dispensary

During the year mobile medical unit went to Rampur and treated 585 cases in all.

Retired Monks Quarter

Retired Monks residents are 14 as on 31st March 2022.

Old Age Homes (Invalids' Homes)

Two separate homes for men and women are maintained. Residents include 34 men and 56 women  as on 31st March 2022

Dairy

As on 31st March 2022 the dairy had 36 milch cows, 4 milch pregnant cows, 3 dry pregnant cows, 34 heifers (3 Pregnant) and 23 calves (16 female, 7 male) taking the total strength of cattle to 100. Average daily milk yield was about 12429.51 liters which was used for our patients at hospital and other residents. 

Celebrations

Ramnam Sankirtan
On Ekadasi days Ramnam Sankirtan is sung in the main office. Once during his stay in Varanasi, Swami Brahmanandaji Maharaj had a vision of Mahavir Hanuman attending the Ramanam held in the above premises.
Independence Day
On 15-08-2021 the National Flag was hoisted in front of Main Hospital Gate behind the Nataraj Murti with the singing of National Anthem by the assembled monastics and other staff members.

Christmas Eve
On 24-12-2021 Christmas Eve was celebrated in the main office with Arati, Reading of Bible, Lecture on Life and Teachings of Christ (in Bengali & Hindi) and Carol Singing.

Republic Day Celebration
On 26-01-2022 the National Flag was unfurled in front of Main Hospital Gate behind the Nataraj Murti with a programme on March Past & Guard of Honour, short speech by Swami Vishwatmananda, Chorus Song sung by Nursing Aid Trainees and others and the singing of National Anthem by the assembled monastics and other staff members. 

Swami Vivekananda Festival
On 30-01-2022 Swami Vivekananda's Birth Anniversary Celebration was held with special puja at Swamiji’s temple and Rogi Narayan Puja in the Hospital. Lunch Prasad was served to doctors, well-wishers. Lunch packets were distributed to Staff and their family.

Mahashivaratri Puja
On 01-03-2022 Mahashivaratri Puja was performed in Laveshwar Shiva Temple with Vedic Chanting, singing of hymns etc.

Development Works

  1. Construction of New O.T. Block with Modular O.T.
  2. Purchased Anaesthesia Workstation at New O.T.
  3. Purchased Medical Instruments for New O.T. e.g.- Harmonic & Diathermy, ETCO2 Monitors, Fowler Beds, Multipara Monitors, Operation Table, O.T. Light, Laser Detachable Kit Machine, Online UPS
  4. Changed the cables of C.C.T.V. Cameras to CAT-6 and installed some new cameras
  5. Purchased New Bipap Machine & Ventilator for Hospital
  6. Installation of an additional Oxygen Generator Plant
  7. Purchased New X-Ray Machines
  8. Purchased an additional Hemo Dialysis Machine
  9. Purchased a Realtime Micro PCR for Pathology
  10. Installation of OPD Lift
  11. Purchased CNS Central Station, ECG Machine, Defibrillator, ICU Beds & Multipara Monitors for Observation Ward
  12. Renovation of Medical Ward to 8 Bed Observation Ward
